Bonjour sweet friends!

Just about a week ago, I checked another destination off my bucket list, so I thought I would fill you all in on this magical city of adventure!

This was a “I just found cheap tickets to Paris, lets buy them when you get home from class” kind of trip, and those have got to be just about the best kind if you ask me! So after we got through some of my very bad traveling luck, layovers, cancelled flights, and flying into the wrong airport, my cute sister friend Kenz and I made our way to Paris!

Our Air Bnb, was super central to the city, and only a block from the Louve, so everything we did was pretty easy to get around to (well thanks to Kenzie, because we’d still be lost in Paris if I was put in charge of directions to be honest…). But we did happen to choose an apartment that was up five flights of skinny stairs, and I can’t say was the most exciting thing to pull our over packed suitcases up, after we ventured through many, many, did I mention M A N Y blocks of cobble stone streets… but the view was worth it right? 😉

The weather was pretty chilly, and a tad rainy, but that didn’t stop us from exploring as much as possible! We didn’t really have too much of a plan, but thats my favorite kind of travel, because it gives more of an opportunity to run into the coolest places, food, and in this case TONS of cafes! Fair warning, ordering “coffee” actually means espresso shots, so anything on the french menu that ends in chocolate was my safest bet, and not a bad one either ;)! We also took the train to get around, which in my opinion was the best way to get the full experience, except for the tiny ticket you’re expected to keep track of for a week… we may of had to pick up more than one 😉

We went up in the ferris wheel on the last day to get a view of the city, and it was totally worth it! Especially because we didn’t have to wait in the line for the Eiffel Tower, but if we ever end up back, thats something we will have to do! After the fresh fruit stands, Laduree shops, and stunning architecture on every building, that had to of been one of the neatest parts of the trip (and tell me when the last time you hopped on a ferris wheel!!!).

You could definitely say we fell in love, in the city of love, but it looks like my strawberry crepe didn’t last long in our relationship 😉

I hope you enjoy a little taste of our romantic week, and look forward to where we end up next! (Paris again?! Wouldn’t complain…)

Merci,
