Howdy Strangers,

Hi, hello, how are you, Happy Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year, was it your birthday because well… happy birthday to you? JEEZ it’s been a minute! Time sure does get away from ya (well me at least)… BUT I’M BACK!

I guess this makes for the perfect come back post, because it emphasizes my first goal and/or resolution for 2018! That goal being to… GO! I got on such a travel kick last year, and so for the year of the dog, I’ve decided… ENOUGH OF THE TALK. I want to, D O and  G O and B E . Do all of the things I dream about, talk about, and lose sleep about! Go to the places that I want to explore and adventure. Be the kind of person I admire and aspire to be, ya know? I just had a conversation with a very great friend of mine, and we were talking about how we are always blabbing on about others peoples lives and how we wish that ours could be like that. Whether its traveling or happiness or their living circumstances! Talking about how we can get to be where those people are. How do we get to the place where we can admire the experiences WE are making for ourselves? How do we admire ourselves? So with that being said, I’m going to be checking off bucket list dreams, like this is the last year I have to live. Maybe thats how we get there! I mean shouldn’t that be the way we always live…? Because honestly God has a mind of his own, and could really make this your last year, day, hour even!

So, to start the year off we went big. Welcome to the dunes of Dubai!!!… hahaha alright you caught me, this is no Dubai, but still pretty darn incredible and only 4 hours from home! You don’t even have to venture out of the country to sand surf these bad boys (granted one day I’ll have to check out Dubai). The Great Sand Dunes National Park and Reserve, is right in Central Colorado and let me tell you, I wish we had more time, because the places you can camp (in teepees wut…), and soak in the hot springs, make for the most perfect get away. But we planned this trip two days before we headed out, which I’ll admit is my favorite way to travel! The only thing missing was a nice ocean to pair with the sand (sorry but I’m a sucker for the coast).

I can’t wait to take you all on this traveling and life journey of mine this next year, there is a lot coming your way! I hope you’re ready!

Cheers,
