Chaotic. I think that could quite possibly be the most fitting description for the last couple of months. Between being a senior, having a job, and all the other great stuff life entails, chaotic is probably selling it short! You know when you’re out on a run, and you start off at a full sprint, and after five minutes, you’re basically on the ground crawling? (maybe thats just me… sign I should be running more?) Well honestly that is how life seems to be, constantly at a full sprint, and me following far behind, trying to catch up! But despite the hectic agenda, some I N C R E D I B L E blessings have bloomed from it.
I made a quick trip to New York this last weekend, and when I say quick I mean, I definitely need a year or more there to explore all that the big apple has to offer. From the stunning scenery, to finger licking food, New York was more than you could imagine on the awesome and beautiful scale. I can’t say my feet loved walking through central park in heels, but it was totally worth it! Despite checking this place off on my traveler bucket list, I got to bring home some super exciting news! I was able to attend a bridal certification conference and I am now officially a certified wedding planner people! The conference I attended through The Bridal Society, has been something I have been dreaming about since I first decided I wanted to make a career out of weddings! I made this decision right before the summer started, to really start living. To start changing the things I didn’t like, and to do the things I had been dreaming about but kept brushing off. This was one of those need to do things. This passion and goal of mine finally was able to come to life, and it just so conveniently got to happen in the coolest city. Guys, I can’t even begin to tell you how excited I am to start this journey, and see where this career will take me (hopefully to a life full of flowers and fiestas)! Expect to see some exciting stuff coming up in the near future, and if you happen to be getting married anytime soon, you know who to keep in mind (cough cough, its me!!)
“Set a goal to achieve something that is so big, so exhilarating that it excites you and scares you at the same time. It must be a goal that is so appealing, so much in line with your spiritual core that you can’t get it out of your mind. If you don’t get chills when you set a goal, you’re not setting big enough goals.” -Ben Proctor
